The Invisible Man - The 'Invisible Man (1933) - James Whale

Today I felt like a nice classic Universal , then I decided to see The Invisible Man - The 'Invisible Man , film directed by James Whale in 1933.

I must say that from the very beginning reminded me The Bride of Frankenstein - The Bride of Frankenstein , directed in 1935 by the same director, because in both, despite the 'atmosphere is mostly serious and pioneering are afflicted with some drama, nothing ever gets too heavy, and at the appropriate times is a film of 'irony.
's more I thought about this, when suddenly the same actress who has appeared in The Bride of Frankenstein played the part of the hysterical woman half goose that did nothing but scream, A O'Connor, and here has a role almost identical.

will not say anything about the plot, except that it is taken from a novel written in 1881 by Herbert George Wells , the same writer of The War of the Worlds - War of the Worlds of 1897, of which I remember the 'radio adaptation of Orson Welles , The Island of Dr. Moreau written in 1895, of which I have seen a great adaptation of the 1996 called The Island of Dr. Moreau - The Island of Dr. Moreau with Val Kilmer and Marlon Brando the limits of 'Obesity, and even The First Men in the Moon 1901, Georges Méliès which draws in part on his Le voyage dans la Lune - Trip to the Moon 1902.
However, the difference between book and film is that in the novel, the transformation takes place slowly, as the film begins he has already 's Invisible Man, but the rest should be fairly accurate.
