hopeful that this is subject to our written your kind attention, we would turn to her, trusting in his high spirit, in its high sensitivity in all circumstances highlighted in respect of those who live dramatic situations.
Above we turn to you, Mr President, because we know how much she loves the Aeolian archipelago, fully appreciating all its incomparable beauty.
it is precisely the Aeolian Islands, and in particular to a small fraction of Lipari, Acquacalda, that I am writing
e are asking for his enlightened intervention in our favor.
In a context of already very serious inconvenience, every day, all the inhabitants of the seven islands face (transportation, health, work, education, youth) clearly is a situation of real invivibilità of the whole township of Acquacalda that drag us down, day after day, to a state of profound depression, anger, indignation.
Mr. Chairman, we believe Acquacalda is literally falling apart. Landslides, rockfalls, floods from the sea, impassable roads, lack of water supply are on the agenda and a deep mark on some 300 local residents. It is true we are only a few hundred residents, but we believe we have equal dignity of life than residents of any large city.
Each of us, according to his abilities, he did, and still is, enormous sacrifices to live decently and it is inhumane to see threatened their homes and themselves from natural disasters, no doubt natural, but that would not have had an impact so devastating if those responsible, had put in time the measures necessary for preventing, treating the land.
annihilates us most is what is foolish dribble the responsibilities of all institutions, without which nothing concrete is carried out.
Please, Mr. President, take to heart this appeal, which we would like to address certain that his authoritative voice may ask the appropriate steps to protect our safety, our homes, our jobs, our islands.
