The serious events that occurred in the short time of fifteen days, in the hamlet of Acquacalda Lipari, bring out clearly that, for some time, the locals are complaining.
is easy to document the amount of signal, the local authority, the gradual disintegration of the entire coastal area.
But unfortunately, the indifference and inertia, which brought together the various administrations, both municipal and provincial, in the last 20 years, has allowed the work of man (the uncontrolled exploitation of the whole area pomicifera, the 'senseless settlement without adequate urban infrastructure) together with the massive marine erosion of the coast, never protected by the waves, this beautiful part of the island did become a veritable sieve.
Acquacalda is in danger!
is in danger the safety of its inhabitants! It is in danger of their housing stock! You threaten the survival of those who have invested in tourism! It is a danger of what since 2000 has been declared by UNESCO "World Heritage".
We can not but wonder at the lack of prompt interest from the national press and all
media, on an event of such scope.
order to scale the record needs to happen a striking fact: the undoing of an entire village, a delightful jewel in an environment of unparalleled beauty, do not tickle the interest of no head?
